FightCard Promotions is proud and honoured to announce that Olympian Jeff Horn will be joining its stable of promoted boxers.

In reaching the quarter finals of the 2012 London Olympic games, Jeff Horn became the most successful Australian Olympic boxer in the last 20 years. It is now time to create further history. The first step in that journey is the announcement that he is turning professional in 2013.

Having never stepped inside a boxing gym before he was 18, let alone donned a pair of gloves, it's safe to say the potential of Jeff horn is evident and abundant. Looking to follow in the footsteps of fellow Australian Olympians and world title holders Danny Green and Daniel Geale, Jeff “ The Hornet” Horn is now looking to not only emulate their achievements but also carve out his own successful and World title winning career. Jeff has been fighting the best in the world as an amateur and is now ready to take on the best in the world as a professional. For this reason it made sense he join the FightCard Promotions team.

Within the last twelve months FightCard Promotions has successfully lead Diana Prazak to a world title, Frank LoPorto to a WBA World title shot against the rising star Austin Trout, Commonwealth title opportunities for Mark Quon and Jarrod Fletcher.

No one else has promoted more Australian titles in 2012. It's safe to say he's joining a
team that can make things happen.

Campaigning at welterweight, Jeff will be making his debut in Melbourne on March 1 st
2013. It is the aim of FightCard Promotions to keep ‘The Hornet’ busy in 2013, moving through the Australian ranks quickly. Looking to have the Australian title belt in his possession by the end of 2013, before moving onto regional and world honours.

Expect Jeff to be making big waves on the domestic boxing scene in 2013, a journey that you will be able to share every step of the way.

Jeff Horn is not a fighter to be missed. He's strong, lightning fast and has power in both hands. Get on board and get ready for him to excite all Australian boxing fans in 2013 and beyond.
