Jean Pascal's Ring Return is Targeted For Sept. 27

By Luke Furman

According to promoter Yvon Michel of GYM, the return of former light heavyweight champion Jean Pascal (29-2-1, 17KOs) is being targeted for a fall date of September 27th. Pascal was last seen in action on January 18th, when he won a lopsided twelve round unanimous decision over Canadian rival Lucian Bute.

Pascal then became a free agent, started his own promotional company, and then signed a deal to have his fights promoted under his own banner, Michel and InterBox. No word on Pascal's next opponent or whether the fight is heading to HBO or Showtime.

Luke Furman covers boxing for bokser.org.
