Jayson Velez Likely Back on Cotto-Rodriguez Card

By Miguel Rivera

Top featherweight contender Jayson Velez (20-0, 15 KOs) is expected to return on the Miguel Cotto-Delvin Rodriguez undercard on October 5th at the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida. Velez has been inactive since demolishing Salvador Sanchez in three rounds last December. Earlier this year he was going to face Daniel Ponce De Leon, but withdrew from the contest with an injury.
