Jayson Velez Fights Jose Beranza on March 24, Telefutura

Unbeaten featherweight and explosive puncher Jayson "La Maravilla" Vélez (17-0, 13KO's) will face the biggest challenge of his career when he steps into the ring with Mexican veteran and warrior José Angel Beranza on Saturday, March 24th in "Boxeo Boricua in Caguas: It's My Time".  The show is presented by Miguel Cotto Promotions and H2 Entertainment.  Vélez vs. Beranza will be the Main Event of the famous "Solo Boxeo Tecate" Series that airs nationwide on Telefutura and will be for the vacant WBB Americas featherweight championship.

"I'm ready for Beranza; I know him very well. It is a fight that has been in the oven and now it's time to make it happen. I trust my abilities and condition,  and on Saturday, March 24th I will prove it and will KO Beranza", Jayson said.
