Janiel Roman and Miguel Soto Win Big in Vega Alta

With a great crowd at the Victor Marchand Coliseum in Vega Alta and another Miguel Cotto Promotions and H2 Entertainment "Boxeo Boricua WAPA 2" show, light flyweight prospect Janiel "Pototto" Rivera (10-1-2, 6KO's) won a 6 round unanimous decision over Joel Collazo. "Pototto" Rivera used his distance to keep the pace of the fight with accurate jab right into the face to neutralize Collazo. Photos by Alex Roman.

In another exciting fight; hard puncher Miguel "Mikito" Soto stopped Christopher Rivera at 2:59 of round 4 with a hard left hook to the body.

"I felt strong tonight, I knew that he wasn't going to resist my hands. I give credit to him he has awkward style. People have been talking about me fighting Sasso Lopez, I want to say that I am ready for him and will love to face him next year," Mikito Soto said who improves his record to 12 wins 1 defeat and 12 knockouts.

In other fight results super bantamweight Angel "Pito" Fret add a another KO to his unbeaten record when he stopped Juan G. Cruz in the first round with a strong body shot. Fret improves his record to 16-0, 13KO's.

José Rodriguez won his first professional fight with a devastating knockout over Linomar Rios at the first round. Rodriguez won the 500 dollars prize of "El Palo De La Noche" from Palo Viejo.

Ashley Elias suffered his first professional defeat by hands of Rafael Vazquez.

The Charlie Clemente vs. Alexis Diaz bout ended in a No Contest because of a accidental headbutt in the second round

And Eric Diaz won his first fight by knocking out Henry Lopez.
