James DeGale, Chris Eubank Jr. Double on March 23rd

London - Mick Hennessy has announced today that he will be promoting a night of championship boxing at Glow, Bluewater on Saturday 23rd March.

Headlining the event will be the 2008 Olympic Gold Medallist James DeGale MBE who will be defending his WBC Silver belt.

Supporting James at Glow will be middleweight sensation Chris Eubank Jr.

James DeGale said “I’m excited to be boxing at Glow again, it was a tremendous atmosphere for my last fight and it’s a great venue to headline at.

“This year is going to be a big year for me, I’m looking to be the first ever British Olympic Gold Medallist who goes on and wins a professional world title.”

Details on James’ world-class opponent and the undercard will be announced in the coming days.

It's a pity Oosthuizen is fighting in the States in March I would love to see him send Degale into retire the arrogant , no honour yob.

Really nice fight! Should be good.

DeGale talks like he wants nothing to do with Jr, and is focusing on Froch. I think he's another one of those fighters who underrates Froch based on his awkward style and thinks he can do a number on him.

Looking forward to when these two fight.
