Jackie Nava (28-4-3, 12KOs) decided to take a break from her boxing career to become a mother, but she’s now ready to return. The former world champion has announced that she's poised to start the second stage of her boxing career.
Jackie said she wants to return by March this year but nothing's yet finalized.
Jackie stressed that the priority number one, is her daughter Frida, but she feels a lot of passion for boxing and wants to return.
“My plan is to train the same. The truth is that I don’t know how I will react in the ring after more than a year of absence, but I'll do my best.”
Jackie will return as a super bantamweight, as she doesn’t want to give away any advantages in hight or weight, and then in the future she'll challenge current champion Alicia Ashley.
