Jackie Nava Batters Brown: Guerrero, Gonzalez Win

Tijuana, Mexico - WBA super bantamweight champion Jackie Nava (28-4-3, 12KOs) stopped Lisa Brown (19-6-3, 6KOs) in three rounds. Nava controlled the action early and then let her hands go with a big barrage of power shots to close the show in the third. She will now likely move forward with a fall clash against fellow Mexican superstar Mariana "La Barbie" Juarez (35-5-3, 16KOs).

Former champion Rodrigo Guerrero (17-4-1, 11KOs) suffered a first round knockdown and came back to stop Jonathan Lecona (15-12, 10KOs) in five rounds. Lecona was unable to come out for the sixth round of the bantamweight bout.

Also on the card, Top Rank's flyweight prospect Jonathan “La Bomba” Gonzalez (10-0, 9KOs) stopped Saul “Hernandez (3-4, 1KO) in two rounds. Gonzalez scored a knockdown in the first and knocked out Hernandez in the second.
