Golden Boy Promotions vice president and matchmaker Eric Gomez says Filipino ring idol Manny Pacquiao has "really blossomed into a great fighter" and believes that the southpaw from General Santos City is unbeatable right now.

In an email to Viva Sports/Manila Standard Today, Gomez who was in Manila for the Mano-A-Mano showdown between Pacquiao and former two-time super bantamweight champion Oscar Larios said "I don't think anyone can beat him (Pacquiao) now at 130 pounds."

Gomez said Manila was "very nice" and their entire team which included Larios and the other Mexican fighters on the undercard was "treated very well."

Gomez who together with the great Oscar De La Hoya's international matchmaker and adviser Sampson Lewkowicz recently signed a promotional agreement with the ALA Gym of respected boxing patron Tony Aldeguer initially covering WBO Asia Pacific bantamweight champion Rey "Boom Boom" Bautista and OPBF super flyweight champion Z "The Dream" Gorres said both fighters will see action in the US within the next couple of months.

Gomez said Bautista who is slowly getting back into shape after being forced to pullout of his bout against veteran Alejandro Felix Montiel on the Pacquiao-Larios fight card due to a virus infection will see action on September 16 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas on the blockbuster card featuring WBC super featherweight champion Marco Antonio Barrera's rematch with Rocky Juarez. Gomez revealed he is currently looking for an opponent and should have one lined up shortly.

He also said Gorres will "most likely fight right around the same day" and promised to confirm this within the next few days.
