Copenhagen, Denmark - Ex-WBA bantamweight champ Johnny Bredahl won his comeback fight over tough Russian Alexander Fedorov on a seventh round disqualification in the headliner of this Bettina Palle promotion at the KB hall. Fedorov had points deducted in both the second and third rounds for punching behind the neck. In the seventh Fedorov threw a left, followed by an elbow and a punch behind the neck and Italian referee Matteo Caddeo dq:d him on the spot after 34 seconds of the round. "Boxing is boxing" stated Bredahl afterwards, "if the referee don΄t see it then you get away with it but this guy did it all right in front of him."

Bredahl looked good early on but Fedorov was wild, strong and appeared to be coming on in the sixth but then blew it all in the seventh. Johnny added the vacant WBA and WBO I/C belts to his collection with this win. He΄s now 56-2.

Martin Kristjansen retained the WBO I/C 135 lb title with a clear win over slick Russian Andrey Devyataykin after twelve tough rounds but looked like the victim of a bad accident afterwards with cuts and bruises all over his face. It was scored 117-111 on two cards and 116-112 on the third. Kristjansen had three smaller cuts and one bad around the eyes and on the forehead at the end and looked like hell. Devyataykin was almost unmarked but it was Kristjansen΄s cleaner,
harder punches that won the fight.

Jr middle Reda Zam Zam won an unanimous decision over Marat Khuzeev over eight. It was a tense, close fight in the beginning but Zam Zam gained control in the fourth and won on scores of 79-73, 80-72 and 80-72.

Welterweight Christian Bladt knocked out Viktor Baranov with a right upercut in the third and put his career back on track. Baranov, once a very good fighter, appears to be at the end of his though.

Featherweight Spend Abazi returned after an injury layoff and beat Marcel Kasimov over six of another good fight. Kasimov stunned the Dane in the fourth but he came back well.
