Floyd Mayweather Jr. has said a few times that there is nothing to gain by taking a fight with Shane Mosley, but that hasn't stopped him from dishing out some more verbal abuse in Shane's direction. During a recent interview with CBS Sports, Mayweather really took aim at Mosley by calling him a jealous fighter who may still be using steroids.

“I think Shane Mosley, who’s 38 years, five losses and extremely desperate. A former steroid user and could still be using. I think he’s a guy who is just jealous, jealous of my success. He’s jealous that he has to go to the Staples Center and did 20,000 [fans] and his gate only did $1.5 million, and Floyd Mayweather is a guy who can gross $70 million in just one fight and it's still growing,” Mayweather said.

As far his next fight, Mayweather names a few guys but refused to commit to any single opponent.

“There are so many different names. Some people say Manny Pacquiao, some say Miguel Cotto, some say Shane Mosley. I just don’t know what the future holds for Floyd Mayweather. We take it one day at a time and see what the future holds. It’s something that I have to talk it over with my team, my advisers and we’ll see what's the best move for Floyd Mayweather is," Mayweather said.

The fight everyone wants to see Mayweather take is against Manny Pacquiao. Mayweather says Top Rank's Bob Arum [who used to promote Mayweather] could be a big factor in the fight not taking place. Mayweather is now using his performance over Marquez as a measuring stick on being better than Pacquiao.

"I think there is a lot of truth to that [regarding the Arum factor]. Manny Pacquiao is a great fighter and I take nothing away from him. I don’t think Manny Pacquiao beat Marquez more convincingly than I beat Marquez. He won one fight by one point and the other was a draw. He got a pretty good record. Once I’m in the squared circle I’m bar none the best fighter - hands down," Mayweather said.
