Citing anonymous sources that are close to Ricky Hatton's camp, News of The World reports that Hatton is planning to return to the ring in the next few months in his backyard of Manchester. Hatton's career has been in limbo since last month's two-round KO loss to Manny Pacquiao. A source told the paper that Ricky wants to have at least one more fight before making a decision on whether he still has the physical fire to keep going.

"Ricky doesn't take anything away from Floyd and Manny but he feels there were things that didn't help his performances. He believes he can still offer something and wants to have at least one more fight," the source said.

There is talk that Hatton may return at 147 instead of 140, at least for his next fight, and the paper reports that one of the names being thrown around as a possible comeback opponent is Steve Forbes. Assistant trainer Lee Beard is expected to replace Floyd Mayweather Sr. as head trainer.

If Hatton does fight again he needs to look IMPRESSIVE, not another wobbly Lazscano performance, I think Hatton needs to KNOCK SOMEONE OUT to get a bit of momentum back.
