The Commercial Appeal reports that the HBO "Boxing After Dark" tripleheader, scheduled for June 21, is heading to the FedExForum in Memphis. The card will be co-promoted by Lou DiBella and Prize Fight Boxing. The card was initially eyed for New York, but the FedExForum presented DiBella with a better offer to host the event.

In the main event, Andre Berto (21-0, 18KOs) will face Miguel Angel Rodriguez (29-2, 23 KOs) in a WBC welterweight eliminator to set the mandatory challenger to champion Floyd Mayweather Jr.

In the co-feature, undefeated heavyweights Chazz Witherspoon (23-0, 15 KO's) and Chris Areola (23-0, 21 KOs) do battle. Unbeaten flyweight Rayonta Whitfield (21-0, 10KOs) will also see action.

"The economy is terrible right now," DiBella said. "But we've gotten a good deal with the FedExForum, and they've allowed us to make this a very affordable fight. I know Memphis isn't Las Vegas and isn't a casino town, but Memphis is a great place to do an event. This (fight) is a way for me to come back to Memphis and price a fight to where even the ringside seats are affordable for regular folk to see some of the best in boxing."

I'm not sold on Arreola yet, he hasn't fought any real tough competition. Berto is good but I've seen him dropped by a B-Class fighter. He definitely isn't ready for Floyd yet. I'd like to see him in there with Cintron, Zab or Shane first. He needs to get some good wins under his belt before he t...
