Text by Edward Chaykovsky, Interview by Chris Robinson

Trainer Virgil Hunter is confident that Amir Khan's speed will create some problems for Floyd Mayweather Jr. (45-0, 26KOs) - if a fight is finalized between the two boxers. Khan (28-3, 19KOs) revealed on Monday that he signed his end of the contract to face Mayweather on May 3rd at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Mayweather has yet to sign his end of the agreement, but all of the signs are point to a showdown with Khan.

"At this point I don't have a plan [to beat] Floyd and I may not even have a plan for him leading up to the fight. Sometimes you just don't need 'a plan' - you need two plans. Right now the fight hasn't been confirmed so my mind is not on it. Once the fight has been confirmed....quite naturally we would have to use Amir's assets to make noise in the fight. If assets are very uncanny and his speed can throw anybody off, including Floyd. If we can get his dedication and commitment up, [and combine that] with his speed, it will be a very interesting fight," Hunter said.

Khan's speed is what's gonna get him in trouble. He reminds me of a 15 year old boy that just got his license, driving a Ferrari.

[QUOTE=FrankieBruno]1) Who are these plenty of boxers who put Maidana on the floor before Khan? Name them please?B] 2) You don't remember Khan knocking down Peterson in round 1? Ofcourse there is nobody you can truly compare to Floyd, thus i find it somewhat hilarious how folks compare ...

So 'Big Virg' doesn't feel that Khan is showing the desired levels of commitment and dedication. I wonder what his motives are for saying that? Let's fast forward to the post fight presser: "Looook. I didn't have a plan for Amir coming into the fight, I told y'all that before it was a done deal....

Theres a guy Danny average fighter in my opinion has one important ability that masters all....TIMING...He didn't seem to have a problem with Khans speed. Khan's fast but he arguably throws too many punches at a time hence getting KTFO repeatedly....Bet your last dollar Mayweather wi...
