Former champion Humberto Soto (57-7-2, 34KOs) is going to return in the month of March, according to his manager Antonio Lozada. Lozada states that Soto is possibly going to be match against a high ranked opponent on a Golden Boy Promotions card, but if that doesn't happen, then Soto will return on a Baja Boxing card on March 21 in Cancun, Mexico. Soto wants a shot at WBC junior welterweight champion Erik Morales, who faces Danny Garcia on March 24 and then has to defend his title against mandatory challenger Olusegun Ajose. Soto will train at the Otomi Ceremonial Center.
