Humberto Soto Will Now Take on Wilfrido Buelvas

By Miguel Rivera

On June 14 in Tlalnepantla; former world multi-champion Humberto Soto (63-8-2, 35KOs) will return for the second time in 2014, as he headlines a card being showcased by Televisa. Soto was previously scheduled to be once-beaten Emmanuel "Money Mosquito" Addo (12-1, 10KOs) of Ghana.

The opponent has now been changed, and Wilfrido Buelvas (15-1, 9KOs) of Colombia will be the opponent. Buelvas won his last six, but got knocked out in three rounds by Walter Estrada in October of 2012. All of his fights were held in Colombia.

Soto fought in the month of March, where he won a ten round unanimous decision over previously undefeated Juan Carlos Abreu. Also on the June card is undefeated banger Rey Vargas, who is close to securing a world title shot, and the quick return of Lourdes "Little Lulu" Juarez, younger sister of world champion Mariana "Barbie" Juarez.
