Humberto Savigne is Not Impressed With Jackson Junior

Light heavyweight Humberto “El Don” Savigne 10-1-0 (7 KO's) is ready to give more of himself on March 29th in Verona, when he faces Brazilian Jackson Junior in a 10 round fight. Savigne will defend his light heavyweight WBA FEDELATIN and WBC FECARBOX titles that he took from Richard Hall last May 18th.

His rival on this occasion, comes to the ring with an impressive record of 14-0-0 (12 KO's). This doesn’t worry Savigne:

“His fights and his record, definitely they don’t impress me. We are talking about an guy who never had a promising career in his own country (Brazil) and the level of the opponents he face is not something that I am scared of,” said Savigne. "We want to make it very clear that we respect him as a sportsman and a boxer and due to that we are coming to New York in the best possible physical condition for the fight. We believe that the biggest respect that we can show to Jackson Junior is to come in unbeatable condition and this is what we have been doing for more than 3 months."

This ESPN televised event will be presented by Banner Promotions at The Turning Stone Resort and Casino in Verona, New York. The main event will be a battle between Brian Vera and Donatas Bondorovas in the middleweight division, scheduled to 12 rounds.
