Hugo Centeno Jr. Enjoys Easy Night Versus Leatherwood

By Luis Sandoval

Fantasy Springs Casino, Indio, California - Hugo Centeno Jr. cruised past Keandre Leatherwood. Scores were 100-89, 99-91 and 100-90 in favor of Centeno Jr. (18-0, 9KO), who was making his Shobox debut. Leatherwood (12-2-1, 8KO) was given a lot of leeway in the bout and dangerously close to point deductions on several occasions.

Braulio Santos (10-0, 9KOs) made easy work of Kevin Hoskins (7-2, 5KOs)as he stopped him in the very first round of their Featherweight bout. After a small jabbing contest, Santos landed a hard left hook that hurt Hoskins. A beautiful follow up double left hook dropped Hoskins hard as he tried to get up but was still on unsteady legs which caused the referee to stop the fight.
