Hughie Fury envisioned 2016 as the year he would make a lot of noise in the heavyweight division. That journey will now include a new promoter along for the ride.

“Hughie is one of the best and most exciting young heavyweight prospects in the world and I’m thrilled to sign him,” Warren said in a statement released through Warren's press office. He wants to fight regularly and for a heavyweight talent of his potential that’s essential as he closes in on a world title. The division is certainly opening up with plenty of opportunities and Hughie is going to figure dominantly in the next few years.”

The 21-year old Fury is coming off of a four-win campaign in 2015, making enough of an impression to where his services were sought in notable heavyweight action. Sensing the opportunities came more due to promoters wanting to cash in on his name than presenting a level playing field, the 6'6" prospect opted to develop a bit more before making a run for the very best in the division,

Next up is veteran gatekeeper Nagy Aguilera, which comes on March 26 at SSE Arena in London. Fury has long ago committed to the fight, which serves in supporting capacity to the British middleweight title fight between Nick Blackwell and Chris Eubank Jr.

After that will come an immediate turnaround, in support of another middleweight title fight. Fury's placement on the April 30 will air on BoxNation, with the event topped by Billy Joe Saunders' middleweight title defense versus Max Bursak.

“I’m delighted to be featuring on BoxNation," said Fury (18-0, 10KOs). "I boxed on their shows in the past and really enjoyed the experience. I am going to make a big impact over the next few years and join my cousin Tyson at the very top of the sport.”

Added Peter Fury, Hughie's father and trainer: “We’re delighted at Team Fury for Hughie Lewis Fury to be fighting on the Frank Warren and BoxNation show on the 30th April on the Billy Joe Saunders bill. We look forward to future fights with BoxNation with Hughie who is without doubt a future superstar in the sport.”
