Huck vs Nakash, Peter vs Helenius Final Presser Quotes

On Saturday night, Marco Huck (31-1, 23 KOs) will return to the place where he celebrated the biggest success of his impressive career. Fighting in front of an enthusiastic crowd at the Gerry Weber Stadium in Halle, Germany, he dethroned WBO Cruiserweight Champion Victor Emilio Ramirez in August 2009. When the 26-year-old steps through the ropes in three days, he will already make his sixth title defence. “It has been a great time but the best is yet to come,” he said. “There is nothing like being the world champion. I constantly want to prove myself against the best and I will destroy whoever gets into my way. Nakash will be in for a tough evening. It will be an honor to give him a proper beating to please my home fans.”

The unbeaten challenger from Israel (25-0, 18 KOs) is determined to spoil Huck´s homecoming party. “I will defeat him,” he stated at today´s official press conference. And his manager Don Elbaum added: “Ran will be the new world champion. Huck and the German fans will be in for an unpleasant surprise.”

In the co-featured main event, undefeated WBO Intercontinental Heavyweight Champion Robert Helenius (14-0, 9 KOs) will take on former world champion Sam Peter (34-4, 27 KOs). The WBA Intercontinental Heavyweight Title will also be on the line. “I have trained very well,” Helenius said. “Ulli Wegner is the best coach in the world and we have come up with a very good plan. I am sure I will clinch another victory.”

Peter, the “Nigerian Nightmare”, believes that his experience will give him the edge over the “Nordic Nightmare”. He said: “I will be his personal nightmare. I will make him look like a schoolboy when I teach him the basics of boxing. I will win on Saturday.”

LOL at Huck. He's no champion, he's a paper champ. He should look to rematch the true champ, Cunningham, or Lebedev for that matters. :lame:
