The World Boxing Organization has ordered a purse bid date for the trilogy showdown between WBO cruiserweight champion Marco Huck and mandatory challenger Ola Afolabi. The first meeting was won by Huck with a close twelve round decision and they fought to a draw in last year's rematch.

The purse bid will be held at 11:00 AM EST on Tuesday, February 26, at the Double Tree by Hilton Hotel Miami Airport & Convention Center in Miami, FL. The minimum acceptable bid is $300,000.

According to the Regulations Section 14 (e) , in a purse bid involving a contest between a WBO Champion and a WBO Interim Champion, “the purse division not be greater than 80/20 in any case and shall be calculated by the Championship Committee using a ratio based upon the average purse of each fighter’s last three (3) fights. “

The WBO President, Francisco Valcarcel, will preside.
