Hryunov: Roy Jones To Tour Russia, Seek Citizenship

According to Russian promoter Vladimir Hryunov, former four division world champion Roy Jones Jr. will have another tour of Russia, with music performances in Kursk, Sochi, Krasnodar and Belorechensk. Jones has fought in Russia, twice, with a knockout loss to Denis Lebedev in May 2011 and a win over a fringe contender from France in December 2013.

Hryunov says Jones is going to obtain Russian citizenship and register in Belorechensk and Krasnodar.

"In May, Roy will go on tour in Russia. He will visit Kursk, Krasnodar, Sochi and Belorechensk" - said Hryunov. "We have already received an offer from a construction company that is ready to do the construction of houses for Jones [to live in Russia]."
