Super bantamweight prospect Horacio Garcia is being groomed as the next superstar of Mexican boxing. Garcia's career is managed by Eddy and Jose "Chepe" Reynoso, who also handle the career of Mexican superstar Saul "Canelo" Alvarez. There are some conflicts regarding Garcia's record.

The 20-year-old boxer is 12-0, 9KOs according to boxrec, and 17-0 with 14KOs according to multiple source in Mexico. Garcia is promoted by Alvarez's promotional company, Canelo Promotions.

"Horace is a very strong fighter and capable of giving a brutal beating. He is able to finish someone with one punch," says Eddy Reynoso. "He's very disciplined and dedicated to his profession."

Garcia has a familiar face in his corner. The prospect is trained by former champion Óscar "Chololo" Larios. The former champ is teaching his young student all of the necessary tricks to become a champion.

"We hope that with his dedication, discipline and talent, it will lead him to become a world champion," Larios said.
