BOXING'S Peter Pan Bernard Hopkins is ready to fight Welshman Nathan Cleverly in London this July.
Hopkins - the fight game's oldest ever world champion at 48 - wants a world title unification fight with rival champ Cleverly above any other.
But WBO champion Cleverly, 26, must first get through unscathed against German Robin Krasniqi at Wembley on April 20.
Hopkins, who was in prison for armed robbery when Cleverly was born in 1987, claimed the IBF lightheavyweight crown against fellow American Tavoris Cloud a month ago.
Hopkins' promoter Golden Boy is trying to negotiate a delay on his mandatory defence against German Karo Murat - who Cleverly stopped two years ago - so he can take on Cleverly next.
B-Hop said: "Cleverly brings a lot to the table himself. He can fight and has the looks. He knows how to promote. I've been watching him and he's knocking on the door of superstardom.
"He is a threat to me and any other 175lb fighter.
"But I need to be at my best to beat him.
"I wouldn't mind taking that Cleverly challenge. It would interest me."
