Hopkins-Kovalev: Nadjib Mohammedi To See Action
By Per Ake Persson
IBF # 1 and mandatory challenger for champion Bernard Hopkins, Frenchman Nadjib Mohammedi (35-3), will keep busy with a ten rounder on the undercard to Hopkins' unification with WBO king Sergey Kovalev, says manager Christel Aujoux. According to Aujoux, Mohammedi will then fight the winner. Hopkins-Kovalev will reportedly land in November, with the 8th being mentioned as the likely date.
Mohammedi stopped Anatolij Dudchenko in seven in a final IBF eliminator in June and is on a eleven bout winning streak, winning the WBFed, WBA Continental and French titles in the process.
