American challenger Maurice Hooker had plenty to say about his next opponent Terry Flanagan on the latest BoxNation Podcast.

Speaking to Steve Lillis on the phone, Hooker wasted no time in starting the trash talk ahead of April 14th's WBO world super lightweight title fight.

"He's weak, he's soft. He hasn't fought anybody. He fights little guys," he said referring to Flanagan's reign as WBO lightweight champion.

"I'm gonna wake him up. I'm gonna shock him! I'm gonna punch him right in his mouth. I hit hard with both hands. He's never fought anyone with skills like me. He runs a lot. He does that real good. Power? He hasn't got any power. He pitty-pats!"

Hooker, whose record reads 23-0-3 (16 KOs) does certainly not lack confidence. 'Mighty Mo' also claimed that Flanagan is a dirty fighter and slated his tactics.

"I've been watching his fights. He holds a lot, he uses his forearm to the head. He do (sic) a lot of stuff dirty. I'm gonna stop him! I'm gonna show him who's the best at 140. It could be the first round, second round or third round...but he's going down," Hooker predicted.

If he wins the vacant Super-Lightweight belt, Hooker revealed that he wants to take on the very best, before taking another dig at Turbo.

"I want the best and only the best. I'm not gonna be like Terry Flanagan and cherry pick. I can't stand him. I don't like his face, his mouth, nothing about him! We could be friends after the fight, but right now he's my worst enemy."
