Holyfield vs. Zimnoch Talks Begin, Evander Wants 250K

Talks begin for a fall fight between former two division world champion Evander Holyfield (44-10-2, 29 KOs) and Polish heavyweight prospect Krzysztof Zimnoch (15-0-1, 11 KOs). The bout is now being discussed for October in Wieliczka, Poland. Holyfield has requested a purse of $250,000 dollars for the match. This past Saturday Zimnoch won a tough eight round decision over former WBC champion Oliver McCall.

Evander has given us great fights , never ducking anyone competing against bigger men but none with a heart as big as his. I feel bad that he has fallen financially since he made incredible amounts of money and lost…
