Former undisputed world heavyweight Evander Holyfield is backing WBA champion David Haye to defeat either of the Klitschko brothers. Holyfield is impressed with Haye's hand speed and sees the difference in speed as the key to beating the brothers.

“Haye has the fastest hands – and hand speed can get you a long way in this sport,” said Holyfield to Daily Express. “I have been impressed with Haye. He seems very confident in his ability and has a great chance against the Klitschkos, who are very beatable. He’s a great fighter and he is getting better.”

Holyfield doesn't appear to be very impressed with the records of the Klitschkos. He thinks Haye can exploit Wladimir chin, and Vitali's lack of speed.

Holyfield added: “Wladimir has been down a lot of times as a pro and Vitali is not very quick. They’ve had a lot of opponents who have not been at the highest level and Haye definitely belongs at that level. They should be great fights.”

The problem with that theory is that Haye is not an inside fighter at all. He's a counter puncher, a good one. Haye will not get close to Wlad. He will wait on the outside, trying to dodge the jabs and right hammers and counter with his own right. That's Haye's only strategy he always boxed like ...

The Klits

Unless Haye can consistently get around the jabs and the clubbing right hands and get close enough to throw without getting tied up which the Klits are known for (Manny's schooling) he has a very good chance. But if he stays outside and allows the Klits to set the tempo he's done. Furthermore, Ha...

[QUOTE=Steelhammer2010]Wlad's impressive resume is 1,000,000,000 times better than cherry picker Haye's weak resume. Wladimir Klitschko - ATG and HOF - Most dominant fighter in the world - Has cleaned out the HW division - IBF/WBO/IBO/RING Unified heavyweight champion of the world ...
