Herrera Steps Down From Mexico City Commission

Rafael Herrera says goodbye to the Boxing Commission of Mexico City. After having successfully led the Boxing Commission of Mexico City for six crucial and memorable years, former world champion Rafael Herrera is stepping down.

I want to thank everyone who trusted me and who were part of this journey. I feel happy, proud and satisfed after having led this marvellous Commission for six years in which we helped boxing, which is what it's all about, Herrera said.

In coming days it will be announced who will be the next President of the Commission.

he did a good job while there but in a MX paper I read he was forced out & was opposed to a group trying to form a union of boxing well as as other matters not specifically mentioned, just :"issues"he still recouping from a stroke last year, & I wish the champ good luck...
