Angel Hernandez, the strength and conditioning trainer of Juan Manuel Marquez, has spoke to his lawyers are he is ready to sue Manny Pacquiao's trainer, Freddie Roach, for defamation. In the last few days, Roach has conducted several interviews where he questioned the natural nature of Marquez's new muscular body. Roach even promised to "kiss the ass" of Marquez if his body was actually natural.

"What he is doing is a tactic because Roach thinks he's so funny. Juan Manuel wants to fight and shut their mouths. In the 60s it was very common to use steroids because it was an easy way to make you strong, but now there are supplements where you can achieve [great physical results] without anything illegal being in the body," Hernandez said.

"The fact is, I'm going straight to the federal laws, and I talked to my lawyers yesterday and it is a fact that Freddie Roach will be sued for defamation. We are ready to proceed."

The situation is an ironic twist, Roach's fighter, Pacquiao, had a long-standing lawsuit against Floyd Mayweather Jr., and members of his family, for similar allegations. The case was settled a few months ago.

Pacquiao-Marquez takes place on December 8th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
