Hernandez Hopes Arce Now Follows With Donaire Win

By Ernesto Castellanos, notifight.com

Dr. Angel Hernandez, the strength and conditioning coach of Juan Manuel Marquez, is now focused on leading Jorge Arce (61-6-2, 46KOs) to victory over Nonito Donaire (30-1, 19KOs) on Saturday night at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas.

Last Saturday in Las Vegas, Marquez sent shockwaves throughout the entire sport with his one punch knockout of Manny Pacquiao in the sixth round.

Hernandez spent five weeks with Arce, and hopes the former four division world champion will accomplish his goal of beating Donaire for the WBO super bantamweight title.

"We closed a lot of mouths [last Saturday]. It's been a year and two months of work with him, and the results are there," he Hernandez said.
