David Price will return to the ring on December 6, serving on the undercard of an already loaded bill at EWA Arena in Oldenburg, Germany.

The 6'8" heavyweight will face Argentina's Emilio Ezequiel in a 10-round clash that will air live on Channel 5 in England, Price's first appearance on the free-TV channel. The bout comes in supporting capacity to two major title fights which will air on ARD in Germany: a cruiserweight title fight between World lineal champion Yoan Pablo Hernandez and Ola Afolabi; and Juergen Braehmer in a light heavyweight title defense versus Pawel Glazewski.

Price (18-2, 15KOs) has won three straight following a disastrous stretch in his career, having suffered back-to-back knockout losses to Tony Thompson in 2013. His most recent performance came in June, as he was extended 10 rounds for the first time in his career in scoring a virtual shutout over Yaroslav Zavorotnyi.

Injuries have since slowed his progress, though the 31-year old is fully recovered and anxious to resume his career.

“I can’t wait to get back into the ring and back to what I do best,’’ said Price. “This will be my first fight on terrestrial television and it’s a great opportunity for me to show everybody what I can do.

“I’m working hard everyday in the gym and the time I’ve spent out with injury has only made me hungrier. On December 6, people are going to see me at my most dangerous. I’m coming with bad intentions. I want to put in a performance and entertain all the fans watching at home on Channel 5.’’

The fight marks Price's fourth consecutive trip outside of England, a move that was to be expected when signing with Sauerland Event. The promotional powerhouse out of Germany has done right by its giant client, turning a comeback tour into headline news.

“Pricey is without a doubt one of the most exciting heavyweight boxers on the planet,’’ said promoter Nisse Sauerland. “We’re excited to be working with Mick Hennessy to give the UK audience a chance to see him in action on December 6 live on Channel 5.’’
