In a recent interview, WBO heavyweight champion Joseph Parker (24-0, 18 KOs) said he would smile if IBF, IBO, WBA champ Anthony Joshua (20-0, 20 KOs) clipped him hard on the chin.
Eddie Hearn, who promotes Joshua, highly doubts Parker will be smiling if the British superstar connects with one of his bombs.
Their unification takes place on March 31, at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff on March 31.
It was announced on Tuesday that over 70,000 tickets have already been sold for the event.
Parker is known for having a very durable chin.
According to his team, the New Zealand fighter has never been down as a pro or an amateur - and they believe the boxer can take anything Joshua can throw.
Joshua has already gone on record that he wants to test just how durable Parker's chin will be. The majority of Joshua's opponents have been stopped within three rounds, but he's worked a lot harder in his last few fights as the level of competition has increased.
"Apparently [Parker is] going to laugh when Anthony Joshua hits him on the chin. I hope he doesn't. If he does, I think we've got something to worry about, because when Anthony Joshua hits you on the chin, I don't think laughing is one thing you'll be doing. But interesting comment," Hearn told Sky Sports.
"They say he's got a granite chin, but he's never been hit with the ferocity and speed of Anthony Joshua. It's going to be a huge event on March 31 and one we cannot wait for."
The battle of the chins is the background theme in the fight.
Parker and his handlers are convinced that Joshua has a "glass jaw." They plan to target the the chin very early and feel there is no way that Joshua can withstand an incoming swarm of power punches for an entire twelve rounds.
