Promoter Eddie Hearn of Matchroom Sport expects IBF welterweight champion Kell Brook (35-0, 24KOs) to move up in weight in the next three to four fights.

Brook, who is big for the welterweight limit, captured the IBF belt last August with a twelve round decision over Shawn Porter. He's made two defenses this year and a third is scheduled next month against Diego Chaves.

By the middle of next year, Hearn plans to get Brook a huge fight in the country and then he says the boxer will likely go up to 154-pounds to purse a second divisional belt at junior middleweight.

Eventually he sees Brook heading up to middleweight to trade punches with the likes of Saul "Canelo" Alvarez and Miguel Cotto.

"So three or four fights from now, I would say that Kell will move up a weight division. The move is inevitable so it is a matter of when," Hearn told Daily Mail.

"I can see him winning world titles at both light middleweight and middleweight and there are tempting fights to be made against men like Miguel Cotto and Saul Alvarez. He is good enough to be a multi-weight world champion so the next couple of years should be very exciting."
