Promoter Eddie Hearn of Matchroom Sport is confident IBF welterweight champion Kell Brook (33-0, 22KOs) is the biggest, most lucrative option at the moment for Amir Khan (30-3, 19KOs).

Khan is gunning for major pay-per-view fights against Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao, who are currently negotiating to face each other on May 2nd at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. If a deal is reached, Khan will be the odd man out.

Even if Mayweather and Pacquiao are unable to reach an agreement, Hearn believes Khan's chances of landing either option is rather slim. On the other end, Brook is ready to go. Before Brook can make it happen, he must overcome mandatory challenger Jo Jo Dan (34-2, 18KOs) on March 28th from the Motorpoint Arena in Sheffield.

"Amir is a great fighter. I like Amir Khan. I just wish he would do the right thing and give the British public what they want. It's not a case of just giving the public what they want, this is the biggest fight out there for him....the biggest payday...he's got a world title...I don't know what else can be wrong, but if we don't talk we'll never know," Hearn told BoxingScene.com/Be Real Boxing.
