Fans complained after the horrid undercard for Manny Pacquiao-Brandon Rios. HBO admitted the supporting fights could be better going forward, and told BoxingScene.com earlier this year that fans would get a better product with the next pay per view.

"Top Rank recognizes and the fans told us with their post-fight comments on digital and social media, that the undercard is something that everyone needs to pay more attention to with these pay-per-view cards, and Top Rank takes the fan's input very seriously," HBO PPV boss Mark Taffet said. "So do we, and we expect that it will be addressed going forward.

"We heard the fans loud and clear, and it is something that we will be addressing with the promoters in 2014."

Unfortunately, boxing supporters aren't getting much better this time around, despite HBO's promise.

For $69.99 to watch Manny Pacquiao-Tim Bradley 2 in HD, fans will get three undercard fights that don't capture the imagination.

The co-feature was slated to be Ray Beltran against Rocky Martinez, but Martinez was forced to pull out with an illness. Arash Usmanee stepped in. The other two fights are who cares affairs: Bryan Vasquez against Jose Felix and Khabib Allakhverdiev versus Jessie Vargas.

HBO and Top Rank once again failed to deliver. They will get another chance to make good on their promise with the June 8 PPV event featuring Sergio Martinez and Miguel Cotto.
