| HBO Not Interested in a Bradley vs Alexander Rematch
By Mark Vester Devon Alexander (21-1, 13KOs) may want a rematch with Timothy Bradley (27-0, 11KOs), but he likely won't get it - at least not on HBO. The network is reportedly not interested in a return fight, at least not at the moment. Bradley won a ten round technical decision after Alexander, following a clash of heads, told the ringside doctor that he was unable to see from a damaged right eye. The fight took place at the Silverdome in Pontiac, Michigan and Bradley unified the WBO/WBC 140-pound titles. There is a rematch clause in the contract and Alexander has expressed his desire to exercise the clause. Prior to their fight, both boxers were guaranteed future appearances on HBO, so Alexander is still going to benefit regardless. The fight did not live up to hype and the action was non-existent due to a clash of styles. Tags: Timothy Bradley , Devon Alexander , Bradley vs Alexander , Bradley-Alexander , HBO |

The fight was a stinker and I don't blame either boxer. It was just a horrible clash of styles. I can see where HBO are coming from. Bring on Khan v Bradley. If Bradley wants a tune up, he should fight someone like Lamont Peterson or Paul McCloskey, although they may be a bit dangerous and ruin h... |

i know these are not the "slick african americans" Bhop was talkin about, Pacquiao will destroy BOTH of them within 8 rounds. . Khan will beat Bradley, and Kotelnik beat Alexander worse than Bradley did. |
