Earlier this week BoxingScene.com published a story by Ben Jacobs that former Cuban title challenger Yoandris Salinas will face Oscar Escandon of Colombia on May 31st at the Tropicana Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, NV.

BoxingScene.com has been advised that the card, which will be broadcast on HBO Latino, will also feature Orlandito Del Valle (18-1) against Luis Rosa (16-0) in an all Puerto Rican showdown. Del Valle is from Bayamon while Rosa resides in Connecticut by way of Caguas.

The card is a four man single elimination super bantamweight tournament. The winners of both fights will face each other later this year.
