Hanna Gabriel Looking For Rematch With Oxandia Castillo

By Pablo Fletes, notifight.com

Last Thursday, undefeated WBO female junior middleweight champion Hanna Gabriel (13-1-1, 9KOs) was knocked out in two rounds by 18-year-old Dominican boxer Oxandia "La Loba" Castillo (12-0-2, 9KOs) at the Ricardo Saprissa Stadium in the capital of San Jose, Costa Rica. More than 5,000 fans saw the match.

"I obviously want to have a rematch with Oxandia very soon. Right now, she has the title. I gave her the opportunity and I hope she does with me. I did not see the punch she hit me with. I did not see it coming," Gabriel acknowledged.

'Oxandia should enjoy this title because when I recover I will return with great hunger and thirst for victory. Oxandia is a very strong fighter, surprised me with that shot, but I will make sure to eliminate the mistakes I made in that fight. [The loss] is a big thorn in my side, but we will recover strongly."

if Castill is smart she'll fight her in DR...curious how WBO handles this as they are opposed 2 rematches & there was nothing contraversial about this bout..
