Guzman-Khabib Undercard is Getting Packed For 11/30

By Reynaldo Sanchez

Two-time former world champion Joan Guzman and his countryman Ed ‘The Lion” Paredes will be the main & co-main event on November 30th at the BB&T Center (Former Bank Atlantic Center) in Ft.Lauderdale Fla. The card will be presented by Acquinity Sports

The Acquinity Sports Team, led by Guzmán and Paredes, will prepare themselves along with the rest of the team to appear on the world class boxing card named "Beat Down." Guzman will be fighting for the vacant WBA junior welterweight world title against unbeaten Russian Khabib Allakhverdiev in the main event of the night in a twelve round bout.

In the co-main event, welterweight Ed "The Lion" Paredes will defend his Latin titles vs TBA. Paredes has a record of 31-3-1 with 8 KO's in his last 9 fights and in 2013 he is being projected as a possible opponent for the current champions in his class.

Also, this card presents other boxers of the Acquinity Sports team; featherweight Claudio Marrero 13-0-0 (10 KO’s), bantamweight Juan Carlos Payano 11-0-0 (6 KO’s) and light heavyweight Humberto Savigne 9-1-0 (7 KO’s). The event is programmed for 9 fights and between them we will be able to observe light middleweight Domonique “3 D” Dolton, and cruiserweight Isiah “The Piston” Thomas. And we will also see the United States debut of unbeaten Cuban super bantamweight prospect Alexei Collado 15-0-0 (14 KO’s)  from Ireland.

After the programmed fights, a concert will take place - featuring "Flo Rida" and other special guests.
