Earlier today, EC Boxing a benefit show for heavyweight Dennis Boytsov, who was seriously injured in what appears to have been an accident in the Berlin subway earlier this year and here are results:
Hamburg-based Swedish heavyweight prospect Adrian Granat (9-0, 8) took out veteran Darnell Wilson (25-21-3) at 2.30 of the second of a scheduled eight-rounder. Granat landed with a left hook and Wilson went down and was counted out. Darnell protested and appeared unhurt as he got up but the fight was by then over.
Heavyweight Aleksander Dimitrenko (37-2) knocked out Milos Doveden (2-19) 1.07 into the second round. Doveden was down earlier in the round and twice in the first as well. Dimitrenko appeared to be in good shape, moved well and varied his punches well.
Middleweight Jan Meiser (10-0) won a unanimous decision after ten over Peter Orlik (14-12-1) to win the vacant WBO Youth title. Meiser won every round and showed good hand speed but was too green to follow up and Orlik was never in any serious trouble.
Cruiserweight Nikola Milalic (10-1) outscored Oczan Cetinkaya (21-11-2) over ten to win the vacant Int´l German title. Milalic won every round and showed good skills but should have been more aggressive.
Swiss cruiserweight Erzen Rrustemi (10-0) was forced to go the distance against Alexander Todorovic (4-7-1). Todorovic had a point deducted after a headbutt and lost on scores of 60-53 on all cards.
Light heavyweight Edi Kadriya made his pro debut and won on a first round knockout over fellow debutant Igor Nistor.
