Grady Brewer Shocks Fernando Guerrero, KO in Four

By Chris LaBate

At the Frank Erwin Center in Austin, Texas, a shocking upset took place when 40-year-old Grady Brewer (28-12, 16KOs) knocked out highly regarded rising star Fernando Guerrero (21-1, 16KOs) in the fourth round. A series of right hands had Guerrero badly hurt against the ropes. Guerrero went down and almost through the ropes. He beat the count and Brewer went back on the attack with more hard right hands to the head and body. Guerrero fell flat on his face and the referee quickly stopped the contest. Brewer is the new NABF junior middleweight champion.
