Trainer Abel Sanchez, who handles one of the hottest fighters in the sport in WBA/IBO middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin, believes eight division champion Manny Pacquiao is an easy fight for Floyd Mayweather Jr. Although both fighters have shared the same weight division for several years, the two sides have failed numerous times to reach an agreement for a welterweight showdown.

Size does matter, says Sanchez. The coach expects a tough fight at the start, but once the rounds play out he predicts Mayweather will pull far ahead of Pacquiao.

"Even before [Pacquiao was knocked out by Marquez in 2012], I thought it was an easy fight for Floyd. Manny’s speed and Manny’s movement and all that would be a little bit of a problem at the beginning of the fight but once the fight gets rolling, I think that Floyd is just too skilled for Manny, and Manny is too small. I think that the biggest problem is that Manny is just too small to pose any kind of threat to Floyd at this point," Sanchez told On The Ropes Boxing Radio.
I think it has to do with reach. Floyd can keep him on the outside and counter him all day. Meanwhile every time Pac gets tagged he will have to adjust and reset. This will make Pac's output drop to nearly half. Floyd's movement will have Pac more confused than even a shot Mosley ...
Manny would be too predictable for Floyd, he would get dominated and stopped easily.
duh....perhaps floyd didn't know that!?
Great observation from someone else in the boxing world. He knows what many boxers, trainers and those not impressed by the Arum/Pacquiao media machine have always known; Floyd is just too skilled for Manny. The size would play a part because you have a bigger guy with more skills ...
LMAO!!! This one has the boxingscene fanboys conflicted. I can see them now. Well, I know this statement is true, but I gotta keep up the bullsh1t about Floyd being scared. And I need to rip the guy who said it. But now, GGG's d1ck is as far down my throat as Manny's. What do I do:...
