Based on recent history, there should be a large throng at the Madison Square Garden in New York on the night of March 18th when Gennady Golovkin (36-0, 33 KOs) defends his middleweight titles against Daniel Jacobs (32-1, 29 KOs).

"We definitely anticipate MSG being sold-out," stated Tom Loeffler, the managing director of K2 Promotions. "As I mentioned, there's always different ways to look at it. When you have 5,000 tickets priced at $100 to get into the worlds most famous arena to watch these guys get in the ring with each other, I think there's a great value there."

It was announced on Tuesday that WBC super flyweight titlist, Roman 'Chocolatito' Gonzalez, was added to the pay-per-view portion of the card and word is that WBO cruiserweight titlist, Oleksandr Usyk will also be part of this show.

"This show is selling a lot more tickets because of the reaction of the fans than shows that have been announced a long time ago. I think it's just a matter of boxing fans choosing what they'll react to," said Loeffler.

Tickets for this event are more expensive than past Golovkin fights, topping out at $1,000 for ringside seats. Some believe that they are a tad too expensive. To which Loeffler responds:

"The only way tickets can be over-priced is if it doesn't sell-out. If the MSG sells-out - then it's priced really well. I think there's great value. It's certainly a higher price than the David Lemieux fight but these two fighters now with Gennady Golovkin and Daniel Jacobs, where they're at in their careers it's a much higher level.

"Adding 'Chocolatito' as well to the show. Again, our goal is to provide value for the fans. If the fans go to Madison Square Garden, buy on  HBO Pay-Per-View, our goal is to give them as much value as possible and we think with this show they'll definitely get their monies worth."
