WBA/IBO/WBC interim-middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin (31-0, 28KOs) is not paying attention to any discussions regarding future fights in 2015.

Golden Boy Promotions President Oscar De La Hoya recently stated that a fight with Saul "Canelo" Alvarez (44-1-1, 31KOs) and Golovkin would definitely happen.

Golovkin says everything is talk until a contract is signed, basing that logic on his experience with multiple fighters calling him out but never signing a contract.

"At this point, it's just talk. On the one hand there is nothing serious [going on], but on the other hand everything is serious. Until the signing of the contract for the fight, all of this talk does not mean anything," Golovkin told Sportbox.
