Golden Boy Promotions President Eric Gomez is expecting a blockbuster night on September 15th, when his company stages one of the biggest cards of the year at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

The event, which is being carried on HBO Pay-Per-View, will feature the anticipated rematch between WBC, WBA, IBO middleweight world champion Gennady Golovkin and Mexican superstar Canelo Alvarez.

Earlier this week, Golden Boy officially announced the entire pay-per-view card.

The co-feature of the event, will have rising star Jaime Munguía (30-0, 25 KOs) defending his WBO junior middleweight title against Canadian Brandon Cook (20-1, 13 KOs).

Munguia, 21-years-old, was mentioned as a potential opponent to fight against Golovkin in May after Canelo withdrew from the rematch, but the Nevada Athletic Commission ruled out the idea.

He instead fought against Saddam Ali and eliminated him in four rounds to capture the WBO belt, and months later successfully defended his title against former champion Liam Smith.

"It will be one of the most complete cards that we have built in years," said Gomez to Univision.

Another featured bout, will have former IBF middleweight world champion David Lemieux (39-4, 33 KOs) and tough Irish boxer Spike O'Sullivan (28-2, 20 KOs).

The bout has the possibility of being an all-out action brawl.

"It's a fight you can not miss, they both hate each other, so they expect a real war without the possibility of a truce," added Gomez.

Also on the card, the return of former four division world champion Roman 'Chocolatito' Gonzalez (46-2, 38 KOs), who will battle another former champion in Mexico's Moises Fuentes (25-5-1, 14 KOs), who previously held the WBO minimumweight world title - and also retired Puerto Rican great Ivan Calderon.

Gonzalez has been out of action since his consecutive defeats against Srisaket Sor Rungvisai; with the rematch ending in a brutal knockout last fall in Los Angeles.
