Sands Bethlehem, Bethlehem, Pennsylvania - In a much tougher fight than expected, top rated heavyweight Vyacheslav "Czar" Glazkov (18-0-1, 11KOs) had to really suck it up and deal with a very determined Derric Rossy (29-9, 14KOs) to win a ten round majority decision. Rossy unexpectedly threw a very high output of punches and rocked Glazkov several times in the fight. Glazkov, who had a damaged left eye, had Rossy in serious trouble in the tenth and final round but couldn't finish him off. The scores were 95-95, 96-94, 98-92.

In a high stakes light heavyweight battle between two rising contenders, Robert Berridge (24-2-1, 20KOs) of New Zealand was beaten up, dropped three times and ultimately stopped in the fifth round by Vasily Lepikhin (16-0, 9KOs) of Russia.

Lepikhin landed big bodyshots in the second, leading up to a big right hand that dropped Berridge in the closing moments. At the start of the fifth, Lepikhin dropped Berridge with a big right and then a moment later dropped him again with a series of punches. When Berridge made it up from the second knockdown, he was being battered to the head and body until the referee jumped in to wave things off.

Hot heavyweight prospect Joseph Parker (10-0, 9KOs) of New Zealand stopped Keith Thompson (7-3, 4KOs) in three rounds. After dominating the first two rounds, Parker unloaded in the third with two knockdowns to finish Thompson off. Next up for Parker is a fight with Sherman Williams (36-13-2, 19KOs) on October 16th at The Trusts Stadium in Auckland, New Zealand.

The reaction to the decision after the fight from Rossy was right on the money. He was undeniably disappointed but made it clear that the lack of accountability for such a bad score card is destroying the dreams of pro boxers who put their livelihood on the line like he did. It's just sad that a ...

I had the glazkov\rossy fight a draw. I had it 3-2 for rossy at half way point & thought glazkov landed the better punches in the 2nd half but still only gave him 3 of the final 5. 98-92 was a joke. main events had way too many hometown decisions for my liking over the last few years. you expect ...

I was here. Said that the score cards were too wide. But because Novikov had said no to stricter drug testing (despite having been popped for PEDs before) I wasn't feeling overly sympathetic to him.
I'm sick of these gifts to the promoter's favored boxer. Boxing judging keeps getting worse and more corrupt by the day.
Where were you when Novikov got jobbed 118-111 by the judges last weekend?

I'm sick of these gifts to the promoter's favored boxer. Boxing judging keeps getting worse and more corrupt by the day.
