The battle for the vacant IBF heavyweight title is being expedited.

According to Egis Klimas, manager of IBF number one rated Vyacheslav "Czar" Glazkov (21-0-1, 13KOs), the handlers of number four rated Charles Martin (22-0-1, 20KOs) are not interested in negotiating, and because of that the IBF has now set a purse bid for December 18th. Initially the IBF had given both sides until January 8th.

BoxingScene.com reported on Tuesday that Martin will withdraw from this Saturday's fight against fellow unbeaten Dominic Breazeale (16-0), which is part of a Premier Boxing Champion card from the AT&T Center in San Antonio, Texas.

The International Boxing Federation made a ruling on Tuesday to officially strip Tyson Fury (25-0, 18KOs) of the IBF title that he captured on November 28th from Wladimir Klitschko in Dusseldorf, Germany.

Fury refused to make his mandatory defense against Glazkov - because the unbeaten Brit has to honor a legally binding immediate rematch with Klitschko.
