Gilberto Ramirez vs. Dionisio Miranda on Mijares-Terrazas

Gilberto “Zurdo” Ramirez will take on Colombian power puncher Dionisio Miranda in his Top Rank debut on Saturday, April 20 in the New Mexico City Arena in the co-feature of a big card that will include the WBC Super Bantamweight Championship between former world champion Cristian Mijares en the number one ranked Victor “Vikingo” Terrazas.
 
Miranda (22-8, 19 Kos) of Colombia is coming of a big victory in Russia over local hero Oleg Liseev whom he stopped in four rounds. The big card will be promoted by Top Rank and Zanfer Promotions and will telecast in TV Azteca in Mexico and Unimas in the United States.
 
Ramirez (24-0, 19 KOs), from Mazatlan, Sinaloa, México, captured the World Boxing Council (WBC) Youth middleweight title in 2010 and has successfully defended it six time throughout his three-year reign.
 
Currently world-rated No. 4 by the WBC and No. 6 by the World Boxing Association (WBA), Ramirez, 21, is a former Mexican Junior National Champion and a three-time National Mexican National Amateur Champion in the Elite Division.
 
Ramirez is promoted by Top Rank, Zanfer Promotions and Zapari Boxing.
 
“I am looking forward to making my debut with Top Rank. I know Miranda is a big puncher with good experience and I will be ready for this challenge. I want to give the fans a great fight on April 20”, said Ramirez.

iranda was losing when he puled out the ko so he's got a punchers chance but Ramirez's peeps aren't brining him in 2 ein...Ramirez has a bright future, but a lotta defects as well...far from being a top 10 boxer…
