Gilberto Ramirez Will Return To Action in December

By Ryan Burton

Hector Zapari of Zapari Boxing has advised that blue chip middleweight prospect Gilberto "Zurdo" Ramirez Sanchez (26-0) will return to the ring in December.  The 6'3" 22-year-old last fought in August when he shut out Derrick Findley 100-90 on all three of the judges scorecards in Glendale, CA in a Solo Boxeo UniMas televised headline fight.  His December return will be his third fight of the year.

According to Zapari, who manages and trains Ramirez along with his father and Abel Sanchez, they will return to Big Bear, CA in two weeks to set up their training camp.  Ramirez is promoted by Zanfer Promotions and Top Rank.
